Birth Matters Williamsburg meets
on the 2nd Monday of every month!
Where: Community Room of the James City County Library (7770 Croaker Road, Williamsburg, 23188)
When: 2nd Monday of the month from 6:30-8:30 PM
Who: Pregnant women, mothers, birth professionals, nursing babies, and babes-in-arms are welcome to attend!
Description: Birth Matters
Williamsburg is a warm, welcoming community of mothers, mothers-to-be,
and maternity care providers who hold that birth is a normal, healthy
life process that should be respected, honored, and celebrated!
Meetings alternate between Birth Circles and Mothering Circles (at which we gather to share pregnancy, birth, and mothering stories and to exchange support and advice) and Birth Talks
(at which helpful birth films are viewed and discussed, or local birth
professionals present or lead a conversation on a specific topic of
interest, such as breastfeeding, newborn care, labor comfort measures,
etc.).
WE HAVE LAUNCHED A LENDING LIBRARY OF
BABY WRAPS, SLINGS, AND CARRIERS!
Your chance to test run baby carriers before purchasing your own!
