The VCU Medical Center, which comprises more than 200 specialty
clinics and 600 physicians, is the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. It has
the only hospital in Virginia devoted solely to critical care, which features a
state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The VCU Medical Center at Stony
Point is home to Women’s Health Center, a one-stop model for delivering and
advancing health care specific to women.
